My journey in speech-language pathology began in 2013 after graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Illinois University. In my career, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of children in a variety of settings, from toddlers taking their first steps in communication to high schoolers who are honing their skills to prepare for independent living. My passion areas in the field include early intervention, functional communication, early language development, and treatment of speech sound disorders.

Above all, my priority is to build a positive, trusting relationship with your child and family. Connection opens the door to communication! I understand that YOU know your child best therefore it is my mission to be an active listener and offer you non-judgmental support in whatever areas you may need. My goal is to not only address speech and language concerns using play-based, neuro-affirming methods that are child led but to also foster confidence, self-expression, and meaningful connections.

As a lifelong learner, I stay current with the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology, continually expanding my knowledge and refining my skills. I am also committed to collaboration, working closely with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to promote success across all aspects of life.

Whether it's celebrating a first word, witnessing newfound confidence in social situations, or guiding a family throughout their therapy journey, every moment reminds me of the transformative power of communication. I look forward to being a part of your story!
